About KineticNucleus

We build like it's our own product on the line

A startup software consultancy, honest about being one — experienced engineers, delivering since 2021, with none of the overhead of a large agency.

Our story

Started as freelancers, built into a consultancy

KineticNucleus began in 2021 as a small group of engineers taking on freelance web, web app, and DevOps work. This website marks our official start as a consultancy — but the engineering behind it isn't new.

Most of what we've shipped since then was delivered under NDA and enterprise contracts, so we can't show client names or screenshots. What we can do is tell you what we solved: the architecture problems, the migrations, the systems we rebuilt, and how we did it. Our portfolio talks about the engineering, not the logos.

Mission

Give ambitious teams engineering that matches their ambition — no compromises on quality to hit a deadline.

Vision

A world where 'built by KineticNucleus' is shorthand for software that actually works, at scale, for years.

Values

Direct communication, senior craftsmanship, and full ownership handed back to the client, every time.

Who we are

A startup, and we're not hiding it

We don't have a headquarters, and we're not going to invent one. We work remotely, by choice, and we hire based on what a project actually needs rather than keeping a fixed bench. What doesn't change is who we hire: experienced engineers only. No interns and no unsupervised freelancers touch client work — we've seen what inheriting that code looks like, and we don't want your product to go through it.

We'd rather earn a long relationship than maximize one invoice. Pricing is conversation-first — tell us your budget and we'll tell you honestly what fits in it. And if a support contract ends, we don't disappear: past clients can still reach us for free consultation and advice, on the trust that got built along the way.

How we work

Remote-first, ownership-heavy

Held together by how we work, not where we sit or what hours we keep.

  • Async by default, meetings by exception
  • Every engineer reviews production code weekly
  • No feature ships without a rollback plan
  • Direct client communication, not a ticket queue
  • Documentation is part of 'done,' not a follow-up task
  • We say no to projects that aren't the right fit

We're always looking for people who care about the craft
